Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Assistant role based in Lucknow.

The Pharmacy

Assistant will support daily pharmacy operations by assisting with dispensing medications under supervision, preparing prescriptions, and labeling and organizing medicines accurately. The role includes maintaining inventory, checking stock levels, managing expiry dates, and ensuring proper storage of pharmaceutical items.

The Pharmacy

Assistant will interact with patients and caregivers, provide clear information on medication usage as directed by pharmacists, and handle phone inquiries with professional etiquette. The role also involves collaborating with clinical staff, updating records in pharmacy systems,



and following all hospital policies and regulatory guidelines to ensure protected and compliant pharmacy practices.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong prescription handling skills, including understanding prescription formats and assisting in accurate medication dispensing under appropriate supervision.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of pharmacy operations, including medication names, dosage forms, basic pharmacology concepts, and standard safety procedures.
- Candidates should possess inventory management abilities, such as tracking stock, organizing shelves, monitoring expiry dates, and supporting timely reordering of medicines.
- Candidates should possess customer service and phone etiquette skills to interact courteously with patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff, and to manage in-person and telephone inquiries professionally.
- Relevant qualifications such as a pharmacy assistant or diploma in pharmacy certification, experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting, and familiarity with basic computer and billing systems are beneficial.
