Role Description The Personal Banker - Classic role at HDFC Bank in Bijwasan Branch, New Delhi is a full-time preferably currently working in nearby catchment or area, on-site position focused on providing comprehensive banking services to retail customers.

The Personal

Banker will assist customers with opening new accounts, managing deposits, and offering suitable banking and financial products based on customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include handling branch enquiries, performing basic financial transactions, resolving service issues,



and maintaining accurate records in accordance with bank policies and regulatory requirements. The role also involves building long-term customer relationships, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and collaborating with branch colleagues to achieve sales and service targets.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong skills in Personal Banking and Opening New Accounts to support customers with account setup and portfolio management.
- Candidates should possess skills in Deposits and Finance to advise customers on savings, term deposits, and basic financial solutions.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills to handle enquiries, resolve issues, and deliver a positive branch experience.
- Relevant experience in retail banking, financial services, or a customer-facing role is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with branch systems and digital banking tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced branch environment, adhere to compliance standards, and meet sales and service goals.
