Role OverviewWe are looking for a passionate and student-focused Overseas Education & Career Counsellor to guide students in exploring international education opportunities and identifying suitable academic and career pathways. The selected candidate will get the opportunity to work with one of the top schools in Hyderabad, supporting students in making informed decisions about higher education and their future careers.

Key Responsibilities1. Overseas Education Guidance

- Counsel students and parents on international universities, courses, and study-abroad opportunities.
- Guide students in selecting suitable countries, courses, and universities based on their academic profiles and career aspirations.
- Provide information about admission requirements, application procedures, scholarships, tuition fees, and living expenses.
- Assist students with application documentation and admission timelines.
- Stay updated on international education trends and university admission requirements.

2. Career Counselling

- Conduct one-on-one career counselling sessions to understand students’ interests, aptitude, strengths, and aspirations.
- Interpret psychometric assessment results and provide personalized career recommendations.
- Guide students on subject selection,



higher education pathways, and career opportunities in India and abroad.
- Help students develop clarity regarding their academic and professional goals.

3. Student & Parent Engagement

- Build strong relationships with students and parents through effective communication and follow-ups.
- Address queries related to career options, overseas education, courses, and universities.
- Maintain counselling records and track student progress.
- Coordinate with school management and internal teams to ensure effective delivery of counselling services.

4. Reporting & Coordination

- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, student interactions, and follow-ups.
- Prepare regular reports on counselling activities and student progress.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to support student engagement and career guidance initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Psychology is mandatory.
- 1–3 years of experience in career counselling, overseas education counselling, or student guidance is preferred.
- Knowledge of international education pathways and university admissions is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and counselling skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school management.
- A genuine interest in student development and career guidance.
