Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Oracle Data Migration Lead to lead and execute end-to-end Oracle-to-Oracle database and data warehouse migration involving Oracle EBS, ERP systems, ODI/ETL integrations and enterprise reporting environments.

The candidate will be responsible for migration architecture, technical planning, execution, data integrity, performance optimization and production cutover, ensuring a seamless transition to the target Oracle setting.

Key Responsibilities

- Migration Strategy & Architecture: Assess existing Oracle databases, schemas, data warehouse structures and integration dependencies; define migration approach, architecture and execution plans.
- Technical Migration Execution: Lead and actively perform database and data warehouse migration, including data extraction, transformation, loading and schema/object migration in coordination with DBAs.
- SQL/PLSQL Development: Develop and optimize complex migration scripts, stored procedures, packages and data transformation logic.
- ODI/ETL Integration: Oversee and troubleshoot ODI mappings, ETL pipelines, data loading workflows and integration dependencies.
- Data Integrity & Reconciliation: Ensure source-to-target data completeness, accuracy and consistency through validation controls and exception resolution.
- Performance & Issue Resolution: Resolve complex migration issues, optimize data processing and manage technical dependencies.
- Cutover Management: Plan and execute mock migrations, incremental/delta loads, production cutover, rollback procedures and post-migration stabilization.
- Stakeholder Coordination:



Collaborate with Oracle DBAs, ODI developers, BI teams and business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.

Mandatory Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database 12c/19c or later, SQL and PL/SQL.
- Proven hands-on experience in Oracle-to-Oracle database and data warehouse migration.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), ETL architecture and data integration workflows.
- Experience with Oracle Data Pump, SQL*Loader and bulk data migration techniques.
- Knowledge of database schemas, data models, stored procedures, indexes and performance tuning.
- Experience with source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation and migration validation.
- Hands-on experience in production cutover, migration troubleshooting and rollback planning.

Preferred Skills
- Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and ERP data structures.
- Oracle GoldenGate, Linux/Unix scripting and migration automation.
- Familiarity with OBIEE / Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) integration.
- Experience managing large-scale enterprise data warehouse migrations.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or related discipline.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience, including significant hands-on Oracle data migration delivery.
- Proven experience leading at least two enterprise-scale migration projects.
- Strong technical leadership, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently lead migration execution while remaining actively involved in technical development.

Selection Priority: Candidates must have demonstrated hands-on Oracle migration execution experience. Profiles limited to project management, solution architecture or migration testing without technical implementation experience will not be suitable.
