About the Role

CRG (www.crg-recycling.com) is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee and manage its operations across Haryana and Kolkata. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing teams, resolving operational challenges, purchasing, maintaining compliance, and driving overall business performance.

We are looking for a hands-on senior professional who can take ownership of the entire operation, make sound decisions, manage complex situations, and ensure that business activities run efficiently across both locations.

This position requires a mature, dependable, and commercially minded leader with a strong understanding of local operating environments and the ability to build effective relationships with employees, business partners, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

1. Overall Operations Management

- Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operations across Haryana and Kolkata.
- Establish operational procedures, reporting systems, and performance standards.
- Monitor business performance, identify operational gaps, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure consistency, efficiency, accountability, and service quality across all locations.
- Provide regular operational updates and performance reports to senior management.

1. Team Leadership & Management

- Lead, supervise, and coordinate operational teams across both regions.
- Establish clear responsibilities, targets, and reporting structures.
- Monitor employee performance, attendance, productivity, and discipline.
- Recruit, train, develop, and retain reliable operational personnel.
- Resolve internal disputes and personnel-related issues professionally.
- Build a culture of responsibility, professionalism, and results.

1. Regional Coordination & Stakeholder Management

- Maintain a strong understanding of the local business environment in Haryana and the surrounding Delhi NCR region.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with relevant local stakeholders, service providers, and business partners.




- Coordinate with relevant authorities and external organisations where required for legitimate business and operational purposes.
- Manage regional challenges, escalations, and time-sensitive matters effectively.
- Ensure that all external interactions are handled professionally and in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

1. Problem-Solving & Operational Control

- Identify risks and resolve operational problems promptly.
- Handle escalations, sensitive situations, and unexpected disruptions.
- Investigate operational discrepancies and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation, and internal controls.
- Ensure that issues are resolved systematically rather than repeatedly escalating to senior management.

1. Financial & Business Performance

- Monitor operational costs, budgets, resource allocation, and expenditure.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, reduce unnecessary costs, and increase profitability.
- Track operational KPIs and ensure that agreed business targets are achieved.
- Support business planning, forecasting, and expansion initiatives.
- Deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency and company performance.

1. Compliance & Reporting

- Ensure adherence to applicable labour laws, licensing requirements, safety standards, and other relevant regulations.
- Maintain proper operational documentation and audit-ready records.
- Prepare regular reports covering performance, staffing, costs, risks, and key developments.

1. Purchasing, Procurement & Vendor Management

- Oversee purchasing and procurement activities across Haryana and Kolkata.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, reliable quality, and timely delivery.
- Obtain and compare quotations before approving purchases in line with company policies and budget requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships, contracts, purchase orders, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor stock levels,



inventory requirements, and the availability of essential materials and supplies.
- Ensure all purchases are supported by appropriate invoices, approvals, and documentation.
- Identify opportunities to reduce procurement costs without compromising quality or operational requirements.
- Prevent unauthorised purchases, unnecessary expenditure, and procurement irregularities through effective internal controls.
- Coordinate with finance and accounts teams to ensure accurate purchasing records and timely supplier payments.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement costs, savings, supplier performance, and outstanding orders.

Candidate Requirements
- Substantial experience in senior operations management, regional management, or a comparable leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to manage an entire operation, including multiple teams, locations, and competing priorities.
- Strong practical knowledge of the Haryana and Delhi NCR business environment; familiarity with Kolkata operations is an advantage.
- Proven experience handling operational challenges, escalations, and complex personnel matters.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong understanding of operational controls, budgeting, performance management, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgement, and take ownership of results.
- Established professional networks and an understanding of local administrative and regulatory processes.
- High standards of integrity, discretion, reliability, and professionalism.
- Willingness to travel between locations as required.

Compensation & Benefits
- Fixed Compensation: Approximately ₹2,00,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability.
- Performance Bonus: Additional performance-based bonuses linked to agreed KPIs and overall company results.
