Role Description The Operations Manager – Auli role is a full time, on-site position based in Joshimath, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the Aaryam property in Auli. This role involves managing front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and overall guest services to ensure smooth, high-quality experiences.

The Operations

Manager will supervise and support staff, coordinate scheduling, manage vendor relationships, and monitor supplies and maintenance needs. The role includes implementing operational standards, ensuring safety and compliance, handling guest feedback, and addressing service issues promptly and professionally.

Manager will also support revenue and cost control initiatives, collaborate with leadership on process improvements, and maintain a strong focus on guest satisfaction and team development.

Qualifications

- Experience in hotel or resort operations management, including supervision of front office, housekeeping, and F&B; teams.
- Strong skills in staff leadership, training, scheduling, and performance management to build an effective on-site team.
- Ability to manage guest services, handle escalations, and maintain high standards of hospitality and service quality.
- Competence in inventory management, vendor coordination, basic budgeting, and cost control within property operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a hands-on approach to daily operations.
- Comfort working in a remote mountain location and managing operations in varying weather and access conditions.
- Prior experience in boutique hotels, resorts, or experiential travel properties is preferred.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of property management systems, basic office software, and standard hotel operating procedures.
