- Lubrication: Regularly inspect and lubricate machinery components such as gears, bearings, engines, and other moving parts to reduce friction and wear

- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, including cleaning, tightening bolts, changing filters, and replacing worn-out parts to prevent breakdowns and ensure continuous operation

- Monitor Operations: Keep a close watch on the performance of machinery and systems, detecting any signs of malfunction, leaks, or abnormal vibrations and promptly report issues to the Chief Engineer

- Fueling: Assist with fueling and refueling operations, ensuring correct quantities and grades of fuel are used for various equipment and machinery

- Assist with Repairs: Collaborate with the engineering team in overhauls, repairs,



and troubleshooting of machinery and equipment during maintenance periods or emergencies

- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and regulations while operating and maintaining machinery to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working setting

- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, fuel consumption, and machinery performance for documentation and future reference

- Cleaning and Housekeeping: Keep the machinery spaces, work areas, and tools clean and organized to maintain a safe and efficient working environment

- Training and Skill Development: Stay updated with the latest advancements in machinery and equipment technology through training and continuous learning
