Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled and passionate North Indian DCDP to join our resort kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality North Indian and tandoor/curry items, supporting the CDP in daily operations, and ensuring strict adherence to food safety, taste consistency, and presentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Food Preparation &
- Production:

- Prepare and cook authentic North Indian gravies, curries, tandoori items, breads, and rice preparations according to resort standard recipes.

- Ensure consistent taste, quality, portion control, and presentation for all à la carte and buffet orders.

- Mise-en-Place &

- Station Management:

- Handle daily kitchen mise-en-place, ensuring all ingredients, gravies, and marinades are prepped and ready before service hours.

- Manage the North Indian / tandoor section independently during service when required.

- Staff Supervision &

- Guidance:

- Assist, train, and supervise Commis I, Commis II, and kitchen helpers in daily cooking tasks.

- Hygiene, Safety &

- Stock Control:





- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitization in the kitchen section.

- Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory (FIFO), and report ingredient requirements or equipment issues to the Sous Chef/CDP.

- Minimize food waste and control production costs.

Qualifications &

- Requirements

- Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience as a North Indian DCDP or experienced Commis I in a hotel, resort, or fine-dining restaurant.

- Education: Culinary diploma or certification in hotel management/cookery is preferred.

- Culinary Skills: Strong hands-on knowledge of North Indian gravies, tandoor/grills, regional spices, and bulk/resort banquet cooking.

- Attributes: Ability to work under pressure in a quick-paced resort environment, team-player attitude, and flexibility with shift timings.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
