Role Description The News Anchor role at Savin Communication is a contract, in office position based in Noida.

The News

Anchor will present news bulletins, interviews, and special segments on camera, ensuring clear, accurate, and engaging delivery. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and understanding scripts, collaborating with reporters and producers, and preparing for live and recorded broadcasts. The role involves participating in editorial meetings, suggesting story angles, and coordinating with the production team to maintain timely, high-quality news output.

Anchor is also expected to stay informed about current events,



uphold journalistic ethics, and represent the organization professionally during public appearances or promotional activities.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Reporting skills, including gathering information, verifying facts, and developing news stories.
- Candidates should possess Broadcasting and Presenter skills to deliver news clearly, confidently, and professionally on camera.
- Candidates should possess News Writing skills to create concise, accurate, and audience-focused scripts and bulletins.
- Candidates should possess Broadcast Journalism skills, with an understanding of newsroom workflows and journalistic standards.
- Excellent verbal communication in English and/or relevant regional languages, with strong on-air presence and articulation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to live broadcasting situations.
- Prior experience as a news anchor, reporter, or broadcast journalist is highly beneficial.
- Degree or diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
