We are looking for an experienced .NET Architect to lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Microsoft technology stack, cloud-native application development, microservices architecture, and modern software engineering practices.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical leadership to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring architectural standards, performance, scalability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and drive the overall application architecture, technical strategy, and design standards for enterprise-grade solutions.
- Design and implement scalable applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET 6+ / up-to-date .NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
- Architect microservices-based and distributed applications using appropriate design patterns and architectural principles.
- Design RESTful APIs, system integrations, event-driven architectures, and service communication mechanisms.
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to developers, technical leads, and engineering teams.
- Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, tools, and architectural approaches based on business and technical requirements.
- Drive cloud architecture and deployment strategies using Microsoft Azure and/or AWS.
- Design and optimize database solutions using SQL Server and other relational or NoSQL databases where appropriate.
- Establish coding standards, code quality practices, design reviews, and technical governance.
- Ensure application security, scalability, availability, performance, and reliability.
- Drive DevOps practices, CI/CD automation, containerization, and infrastructure automation in collaboration with platform teams.




- Identify technical risks, architectural bottlenecks, and opportunities for modernization and optimization.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, project managers, and other architects to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Mentor engineering teams and promote best practices in software design, testing, deployment, and troubleshooting.

Required Technical Skills
- Programming: C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, modern .NET, ASP.NET Core.
- API Development: REST APIs, Web API, API versioning, authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Architecture: Microservices, distributed systems, event-driven architecture, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Cloud: Microsoft Azure and/or AWS; experience designing cloud-native applications.
- Databases: Microsoft SQL Server, query optimization, database design, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Core.
- Messaging: Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar messaging technologies.
- DevOps: Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Security: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT, secure coding practices, and application security principles.
- Observability: Logging, monitoring, distributed tracing, and performance diagnostics.
- Frontend exposure: Angular, React, or similar modern frontend technologies is an advantage.

Required Experience and Qualifications
- 1216 years of overall experience in software engineering,



application development, and solution design.
- Significant hands-on experience with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem and enterprise application development.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing large-scale, highly available, secure, and scalable applications.
- Proven experience in architecture definition, technical decision-making, and end-to-end solution design.
- Experience leading technical discussions, conducting design and code reviews, and mentoring engineering teams.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Good to Have
- Experience with legacy application modernization and migration to modern .NET or cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with serverless computing, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or Bicep), and cloud cost optimization.
- Experience implementing AI/GenAI integrations in enterprise applications.
- Relevant cloud or architecture certifications.
- Experience working with global stakeholders and distributed engineering teams.
