Bala Mandir Kamaraj Trust is expanding its pioneering Kinship Care Program, one of India's first NGO-led initiatives supporting children impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Currently supporting 3,500 children across 22 districts in Tamil Nadu, we are looking for dedicated Field Social Workers to join our mission in Trichy and, Pudukkottai

Our "Virtual Home" model ensures that children who have lost one or both parents can remain within their family units while receiving the holistic support they need to thrive.

The Role:

- Field-Based Impact: You will operate directly within your assigned district (Trichy, Thanjavur, or Mayiladuthurai).
- Holistic Support: Provide financial and psychological guidance to children and their kinship caregivers.
- Remote Collaboration: Work independently in the field while coordinating with a remote Social Work lead.

Requirements:

- Education:



MSW with 2+ years of experience is mandate; or graduates with significant field experience in community development are also encouraged to apply. Others need not apply..
- Location: Must be a resident of (or living near) Trichy, Pudukkottai
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and virtual communication tools (Google Meet, Skype, etc.).
