Role Description The Mortgage Specialist role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India.
The Mortgage
Specialist will guide customers through the mortgage process, including assessing borrower profiles, understanding housing finance needs, and recommending suitable loan products. Daily responsibilities include explaining mortgage terms, interest rates, and repayment options; collecting and verifying documentation; coordinating with banks and NBFCs; and tracking applications from initiation to disbursal.
The role also involves proactive mortgage marketing, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and existing clients, and providing high-quality customer service to ensure a smooth and transparent experience.
The Mortgage
Specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams to meet sales targets, comply with regulatory requirements, and uphold CKC’s standards of professional and ethical conduct.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of mortgages, mortgage lending, and housing finance products.
- Experience in mortgage marketing, lead generation, and customer outreach within financial services.
- Solid understanding of finance principles, loan eligibility criteria, and risk assessment.
- Demonstrated customer service skills, including explicit communication, empathy, and issue resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications in mortgage or lending are an advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools; ability to manage multiple applications and follow-ups efficiently.
- Comfort working in a target-driven environment with strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of local market dynamics in Delhi/NCR and familiarity with major banks and NBFC processes is preferred.
