Role Description The Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst will support strategic growth initiatives by evaluating potential transactions and partnerships within and beyond the packaging sector. In this full-time, in office role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area, the analyst will perform financial modeling and valuation analyses, conduct market and industry research, and assist with due diligence on target companies.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and operational data, preparing investment memos and presentations, and collaborating with finance, accounting, and operations teams to assess deal risks and synergies.



The analyst will also help track post-transaction performance metrics and support senior leadership in developing recommendations that align with Nationwide Paper’s sustainability and expansion objectives.

Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
- Solid finance and valuation skills, with experience in financial modeling, cash flow analysis, and assessing transaction economics.
- Experience in due diligence, including reviewing legal, financial, and operational information for potential acquisitions or partnerships.
- Accounting knowledge, including understanding of financial statements, cost structures, and key performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications (e.g., MBA, CFA) are an advantage.
- Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools (e.g., PowerPoint) for financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work on-site in the Greater Ahmedabad Area, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Prior experience in M&A;, corporate finance, investment banking, or consulting is preferred; exposure to manufacturing or packaging industries is a plus.
