Role Description As a Merchandiser Intern at Velaroofficial.in, you will support the planning and execution of product assortments for retail and online channels. This in office role is based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area and involves coordinating with design, sourcing, and sales teams to ensure the right products are available at the right time. Daily responsibilities include assisting in inventory tracking, monitoring sales performance, preparing product displays, collecting feedback from customers and store teams,



and contributing to promotional and visual merchandising activities.

You will help analyze trends, competitor offerings, and customer preferences to refine product positioning and assortment strategies. This is an internship role designed to provide hands-on experience in fashion merchandising and retail operations.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written interaction with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Customer Service and Retail skills to support in-store experience, handle queries professionally, and maintain brand standards.
- Sales and Marketing skills to assist with promotions, product positioning, and driving sell-through in retail environments.
- Interest in fashion and lifestyle products, with an eye for trends, visual presentation, and customer preferences.
- Ability to work on-site in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad Area, collaborate in a team setting, and manage tasks with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office or Google Workspace tools for reporting, data entry, and merchandising documentation.
- Current student or recent graduate in Fashion, Retail Management, Business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
