Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an MEP Estimation Engineer based in Bengaluru. The MEP Estimation Engineer will prepare detailed BOQs and cost estimates for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects.

Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, performing rate analysis, and coordinating with design and project teams to validate scopes and budgets. The role involves researching material and labor costs, obtaining vendor quotations, and supporting tender submission activities with accurate technical and commercial inputs.



The engineer will also participate in negotiations with suppliers and contractors, track estimation assumptions, and contribute to continuous improvement in estimation processes and templates.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in BOQ preparation and project estimation for MEP systems.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in civil engineering and building services to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Candidates should possess effective negotiation abilities for coordinating with vendors, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess solid research skills for market rate analysis, material selection, and benchmarking of project costs.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience with MEP estimation software, MS Excel, and standard industry codes and standards.
- Strong analytical, numerical accuracy, and attention to detail, with the ability to work to deadlines.
- Good communication and documentation skills, and ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary project teams.
- Prior experience in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects will be an added advantage.
