Role Description The MEP Modeler will be responsible for creating, updating, and coordinating detailed BIM models for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems using industry-standard software. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design drawings, modeling building services in 3D, checking model accuracy against project specifications, and resolving clashes in coordination with architecture and structural teams.

The role involves preparing model-based documentation, assisting in quantity take-offs, and supporting engineers and project managers with model-related data. The MEP Modeler will participate in project meetings,



follow BIM execution plans and standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of modeling workflows. This is a full time, on-site role based in Dehradun.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in BIM and MEP modeling tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks, or similar) and ability to produce accurate 3D models and drawings.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, building services coordination, and related design standards or codes.
- Experience reading and interpreting architectural, structural, and MEP drawings, and converting them into coordinated BIM models.
- Knowledge of clash detection, model validation, and BIM workflows, including adherence to project-specific BIM execution plans.
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Relevant experience in BIM-based projects in building or infrastructure sectors; experience with rail, metro, or airport projects is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Willingness to work on-site in Dehradun and to learn and adapt to evolving BIM standards and technologies.
