Role Description This is a remote internship role for a Mechatronics Engineer. The intern will support the design, development, and testing of mechatronic systems that integrate mechanical components, electronics, sensors, and control software.

Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in circuit design, assembling and troubleshooting electromechanical prototypes, performing basic maintenance and repair tasks,



and documenting experimental setups and test results. The role involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on applied R&D; projects, contributing to automation solutions, and iterating on prototype designs based on performance feedback and data analysis. The intern will also help prepare technical reports, participate in design reviews, and learn best practices in safety, reliability, and quality-focused engineering.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess foundational skills in Mechatronics, including integration of mechanical systems with sensors, actuators, and control logic.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electrical Engineering and Electronics, such as basic circuit design, power management, and working with microcontrollers or embedded systems.
- Candidates should possess skills in Electromechanics and Maintenance & Repair, including troubleshooting electromechanical assemblies and performing routine diagnostics.
- Relevant skills such as CAD tools for mechanical design, basic programming for automation (e.g., Python, C/C++), and familiarity with robotics platforms are beneficial.
- Pursuing or holding a degree/diploma in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to document work clearly and collaborate effectively in remote teams are expected.
