About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Mechanical Engineer with 2-3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing mechanical systems and equipment used in pharmaceutical manufacturing while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee maintenance, operation, and troubleshooting of pharmaceutical production equipment such as HVAC systems, boilers, chillers, compressors, and utility systems.
- Ensure smooth functioning of mechanical equipment in manufacturing and production areas.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Monitor and maintain compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and validation teams for equipment efficiency and process improvements.
- Handle equipment installation,



qualification, and documentation.
- Analyze mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
- Manage spare parts inventory and vendor coordination.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and cost optimization projects.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical plant machinery and utilities.
- Experience with HVAC, water systems, and process equipment.
- Familiarity with GMP, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in maintenance planning and technical documentation.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Preferred Candidate Profile:
- Experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or API formulation plants.
- Hands-on experience with preventive maintenance systems.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
