Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused General Medicine Doctor to provide comprehensive medical care, diagnose and treat common medical conditions, manage chronic illnesses, and ensure quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Examine patients, obtain medical histories, and assess symptoms.
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions, including fever, infections, diabetes, hypertension, and respiratory illnesses.
- Provide OPD consultations and evaluate emergency cases as required.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and recommend diagnostic investigations.
- Monitor patients' progress and modify treatment plans when necessary.
- Identify patients requiring admission, specialist referral, or further evaluation.
- Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory personnel,



and other departments to ensure effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records, prescriptions, case sheets, and treatment documentation.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment, medication, lifestyle modifications, and preventive healthcare.
- Follow hospital policies, infection-control procedures, and applicable medical ethics.
- Participate in duty schedules, clinical meetings, and quality-improvement activities.
- Ensure timely communication and proper handover of patient information during shift changes.

Eligibility Criteria

- Valid MBBS qualification from a recognised medical institution.
- Valid registration with the appropriate State Medical Council / National Medical Register, as applicable.
- Relevant clinical experience preferred.
- MD/DNB in General Medicine will be an added advantage.
