Job Title: Marketing Intern — Performance Marketing & SEO

About the Role

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to support performance marketing reporting, SEO content creation, and website optimization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, writing content, and learning how paid campaigns and organic search generate traffic and leads.

Key Responsibilities

Performance Marketing & Reporting

- Collect and maintain campaign data across Capterra, TDPM, Google Ads, ChatGPT Ads where available, LinkedIn Ads, and Microsoft Advertising (Bing).
- - Prepare daily trackers and weekly performance reports using Excel or Google Sheets.
- - Track spend, impressions, clicks, click-through rate (CTR), cost per click (CPC), conversions, conversion rate, cost per lead (CPL), and cost per acquisition (CPA).
- - Support budget monitoring, identify unusual changes in performance, and highlight findings to the marketing team.
- - Assist with keyword research, competitor research, ad copy, campaign setup, and landing page reviews under guidance.
- - Help maintain UTM tags and check that campaign links and lead forms work correctly.

SEO & Content

- Research keywords and search intent to write useful, SEO-optimized articles, blogs, and website content.
- - Optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, and image alt text.
- - Add relevant internal links with descriptive anchor text and identify opportunities to connect existing articles.




- - Refresh older content and help identify content gaps.
- - Assist with publishing and formatting content in WordPress.
- - Use Google Search Console (GSC), Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Screaming Frog, and Semrush to support traffic analysis, keyword tracking, and basic website audits.

AI & Creative Support

- Use ChatGPT and Claude for research, content outlines, article drafts, editing, ad copy variations, and other marketing tasks.
- - Use AI image-generation tools to create supporting visuals.
- - Review AI-generated work for accuracy, originality, readability, and brand consistency before submission.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of digital marketing, SEO, and advertising metrics.
- - Good written English, research skills, and attention to detail.
- - Basic Excel or Google Sheets skills, including formulas and data organization.
- - Ability to interpret numbers and communicate simple findings.
- - Willingness to learn recent tools, follow briefs, and meet deadlines.

Good to Have

- Familiarity with GSC, GA4, Screaming Frog, or Semrush.
- - Experience with WordPress, Canva, or AI content tools.
- - Relevant coursework, certifications, personal blogs, or marketing projects.

Success in This Role

Accurate and timely reports, well-researched content, correctly implemented internal links, and consistent progress in applying marketing tools and concepts.
