Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Marine Engineer with strong sailing background at the Second Engineer (2/E) or Third Engineer (3/E) level. The ideal candidate should possess sound technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders. Experience across multiple vessel types and exposure to vessel performance improvement initiatives will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide technical expertise and support on marine engineering and vessel operations.
- Engage with clients to understand operational challenges and provide effective technical solutions.
- Analyze vessel performance data and recommend improvements to optimize efficiency and reliability.
- Support vessel maintenance, operational assessments, and engineering-related projects.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client communications.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality technical services.
- Stay updated with industry regulations, environmental compliance requirements, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Marine Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Sailing experience as a Second Engineer (2/E) or Third Engineer (3/E) aboard merchant vessels.
- Preferably completed:
- At least one sailing assignment as a Second Engineer (2/E), and
- Multiple sailing assignments as a Third Engineer (3/E).
- Robust understanding of shipboard machinery,



vessel operations, and marine engineering practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to communicate confidently with clients and represent the organization professionally.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience Candidates possessing one or more of the following will have an added advantage:
- Experience across multiple vessel types such as:
- Container Vessels
- Tankers
- Bulk Carriers
- Other commercial vessel categories
- Experience in:
- Emission Reduction Initiatives
- Energy Efficiency Projects
- Vessel Performance Optimization
- Sustainability and Environmental Compliance Programs
- Prior experience in:
- Marine Technical Consultancy
- Marine Sales
- Technical Support Roles
- Customer-Facing Technical Positions after sailing career

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
