Role Overview
The Manager, Thought Leadership Corporate Voice is a group-level position based in Bengaluru, reporting to the Global Head of Corporate Marketing. Group level means the role represents the InMobi Group as a whole, rather than any single business. The incumbent is responsible for building and running the group s thought leadership programme: the ideas, point of view, and voices through which InMobi takes part in the conversations that matter to its category. The role is primarily B2B in focus. The incumbent s purpose is to shape how the InMobi Group is perceived by the audiences that matter most to its long-term standing: prospective talent, investors, the technology community, and industry thought leaders.
The incumbent will work closely with the entire Corporate Marketing team and the InMobi Advertising and Glance marketing teams, and across teams around the world, including engineering, product, design, talent, finance, and regional marketing functions. The incumbent owns the work from the first idea to the last outcome, including the point of view, the content that carries it, and the platforms that give it reach.
Target Audiences
- Talent: experienced professionals, engineers, and early-career candidates considering InMobi.
- Investors and the financial community: stakeholders who assess InMobi's strategy, leadership, and long-term potential.
- Technology community: engineers, data scientists, and product leaders who follow the work of leading technology teams.
- Industry thought leaders: analysts, journalists,
and influential voices who shape perception of the category.
Key Responsibilities
Point of View and Corporate Voice
- Define InMobi's point of view on the topics that matter to its category, aligned to the group narrative and to business, talent, and brand priorities.
- Maintain a consistent corporate voice across articles, talks, interviews, and social channels, across businesses and regions.
- Build a thought leadership calendar that ties content and appearances to business milestones, industry moments, and corporate events.
Thought Leadership Content
- Write and edit bylined articles, opinion pieces, talk narratives, perspectives, and long-form content in a transparent, intelligent, and credible voice.
- Turn expertise from across the business into publishable ideas, with briefs, outlines, and editorial support for contributors.
- Work with the content and design teams to produce video, research-led pieces, and long-form formats.
Speaking, Media, and Industry Presence
- Identify and secure speaking slots, panels, podcasts, interviews, and awards that build InMobi's presence with priority audiences.
- Work with PR and analyst relations partners to place InMobi's perspectives in relevant media and industry conversations.
- Support participants with briefs, narratives,
and preparation for each appearance, and follow through on what it earns.
Voices and Contributors
- Identify and develop senior leaders, subject-matter experts, and internal voices across engineering, product, and business functions, using a defined framework for selection and support.
- Partner with the Social Media Community team to build presence across all handles, not on a single platform.
Global Collaboration
- Work with the Corporate Marketing team, the InMobi Advertising and Glance marketing teams, and regional, talent, finance, and engineering teams across the world to maintain a consistent voice while reflecting local relevance.
- Act as the point of coordination for thought leadership programmes across stakeholders, setting clear timelines, owners, and approvals.
Partner and Team Leadership
- Manage agency and external partnerships across PR, content, media training, and production.
- Guide and develop writers and contributors supporting thought leadership programmes.
Measurement and Reporting
- Define KPIs across reach, media and speaking outcomes, audience engagement, and brand sentiment.
- Use analytics and social listening to refine the programme and report to senior leadership.
