Manager, Record to Report (R2R)

Role Overview

Lead the R2R function for a group of sister and private companies, ensuring accurate, US GAAP-compliant books, a timely close, consolidated reporting, and tax-ready financials.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close across entities
- Ensure US GAAP compliance and review journal entries and accruals
- Oversee general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations
- Manage intercompany accounting and reconciliations
- Prepare and review consolidation reports, including eliminations across entities
- Prepare and review financial statements, with variance and trend analysis
- Keep books ready for tax filings and handle tax notices and compliance
- Maintain practical internal controls (non-SOX)
- Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team




- Drive process improvement and documentation

Requirements

- Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance; CA/CPA or equivalent preferred
- 8+ years of experience in US accounting
- 3+ years of experience in team management
- Strong US GAAP knowledge
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
- Multi-entity, intercompany, and consolidation experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Solid communication and stakeholder management skills
