About us Shivalik Design is a garment export and manufacturing unit making custom woven and knit apparel at low MOQs. We are GOTS, GRS, BCI, Sedex and ZED certified. We are growing in the UK and Europe, working with sustainable, mid-market and rapid-growing fashion brands.
What you'll do - Find and pitch to fashion brands in the UK and Europe directly (no buying houses), through LinkedIn, email, trade fairs and referrals - Handle every buyer enquiry and RFQ: reply quickly, share samples and quotations, and follow up until the order is placed - Prepare and negotiate costings (fabric, trims, CMT, washing, testing, freight, margins) and get them approved internally - Manage orders from tech pack to shipment: sampling, approvals, fabric and trim sourcing, production tracking, quality and on-time delivery - Work closely with our production, sampling and QA teams, and be the buyer's single point of contact - Keep buyers informed on the India-UK CETA and certification needs - Build a pipeline and report monthly on leads, quotes,
conversions and order value What we're looking for - 6–10 years in apparel export merchandising or business development, at least 3 of them with UK/EU brands - Proven record of winning and running direct brand accounts, with the buyer names and order values to show for it - Strong apparel costing skills for woven and knits - Working knowledge of sustainable certifications (GOTS, GRS, BCI) and compliance audits - Excellent written and spoken English, and confident on calls with buyers - Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets; ERP or PLM experience is a plus - Degree from NIFT, a fashion management or textile institute, or equivalent What we offer - Competitive fixed salary plus incentives on new accounts and order value - A chance to build the UK/EU business from the ground up, with direct access to the owner - International travel and trade fair exposure To apply, send your CV and a short note naming the UK/EU brands you have handled to
