Jobs Territory is hiring for its client for an energetic and result-oriented Area Sales Manager (ASM) to drive the growth and expansion of the Tetra Aquatic Fish Food business across the assigned territory

Territories: Maharashtra | Karnataka | Delhi, UP & Uttarakhand
Salary: 30,000-45,000 per month + TA/DA

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and expand the Tetra Fish Food market across the assigned territory.
- Identify new markets, aquarium clusters and potential business opportunities.
- Manage and develop distributors and aquarium retailers.
- Drive primary and secondary sales and achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Expand distribution and improve market coverage across the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular retailer visits and ensure effective market coverage.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, retailers and channel partners.
- Recruit, train and manage the field sales team.
- Drive product awareness, sampling, retailer education and sales conversion.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, schemes and market activities.




- Identify market trends and current opportunities for business growth.
- Maintain sales reports and provide regular market updates.
- Ensure effective coordination with distributors and channel partners.
- Travel extensively across the assigned territory as required.

Candidate Profile

- 3-5 years of relevant sales experience.
- Experience in FMCG, Pet Food, Pet Care, Animal Nutrition, Consumer Products or Retail Sales preferred.
- Strong experience in distributor and retailer management.
- Hands-on experience in territory sales, market development and channel sales.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and expand market coverage.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Experience in recruiting, training and managing field sales teams will be preferred.
- Ability to develop new markets and generate business opportunities.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Aquarium/Fish Food industry experience is not mandatory.
