Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Application Engineer – Press Tool Domain with solid expertise in Press Tool Design and hands-on CAD experience. The role involves customer interaction, technical demonstrations, pre-sales support, customer training, post-sales technical support, and mentoring junior engineers.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Understand customer requirements and Press Tool Design processes.
- Handle Progressive, Compound, Transfer, and Line Dies.
- Conduct technical demonstrations and POCs using Cimatron.
- Prepare and present Die Face Layouts, Strip Layouts, and Tool Assembly concepts.
- Work with the Sales team for technical lead qualification and pre-sales support.
- Provide Cimatron training to customers.
- Provide post-sales technical support and resolve customer issues.
- Stay updated with Cimatron features and the latest Press Tool Design trends.
- Provide technical feedback to the internal team.
- Mentor and guide junior Application Engineers.




- Support customer visits, technical discussions, presentations, and training programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Tool & Die, or Production Engineering.
- Minimum 8 + years of experience in Press Tool Design.
- Strong knowledge of Progressive Dies and Die Face Design.
- Hands-on experience with UG/NX or CATIA.
- Experience with Tool Rooms, Die Shops, or Sheet Metal Part Suppliers.
- Strong technical presentation and communication skills.
- Good understanding of Pre-Sales and Customer Support.
- Ability to train and mentor junior engineers.
- Willingness to travel across India for customer requirements.
