About Hamari Pahchan NGO

Hamari Pahchan is a non-governmental organization working towards social welfare, women's empowerment, education, and community development. We aim to empower underserved communities by creating awareness, providing support, and promoting access to opportunities.

We are looking for motivated and dedicated Legal Interns who want to gain practical experience in legal research, drafting, documentation, and community legal awareness while contributing to meaningful social initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Legal Drafting: Assist in drafting legal letters, RTI applications, official applications, notices, reports, proposals, and other legal documents under appropriate supervision.
- Legal Research: Research relevant laws, legal provisions, government policies, and case laws related to social justice, women's rights, child welfare, and community welfare.
- RTI Applications: Assist in preparing Right to Information (RTI) applications and understanding procedures for seeking information from government departments.
- Legal Documentation: Help organize legal records, prepare case summaries, maintain documentation, and support preliminary research for community-related legal matters.
- Community Legal Awareness: Assist in planning and conducting legal awareness campaigns to educate communities about their legal rights and available government schemes.
- Social Impact Projects: Support initiatives related to women's empowerment, child protection, education, and access to justice.
- Field Exposure: Participate in community outreach activities and court visits where applicable.
- Report Writing:



Prepare research summaries, project reports, and documentation related to legal awareness initiatives.
- Team Coordination: Work with the NGO team to support ongoing projects and contribute to the organization's social welfare initiatives.

Eligibility Criteria
- Students currently pursuing an LL.B., B.A. LL.B., or another relevant law degree, as well as eligible recent law graduates.
- Basic understanding of Indian laws, legal procedures, and documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to conduct legal research and prepare structured documents.
- Basic proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, and other documentation tools.
- Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a responsible approach to assigned tasks.
- Interest in social justice, community development, and public welfare.

Freshers and law students looking for practical exposure in the social sector are encouraged to apply.
