L3 Technical SME (AI Compute) Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

Role Summary The L3 Technical SME (AI Compute) serves as the highest level of technical escalation for AI infrastructure environments. The role is responsible for leading complex root cause analysis (RCA), performance investigations, automation initiatives, architectural assessments, and permanent corrective action planning to ensure reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of AI compute platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L3 technical support and escalation management for AI compute infrastructure.
- Lead complex Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and performance troubleshooting activities.
- Identify architectural defects and recommend permanent corrective actions.
- Automate recurring operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
- Drive platform reliability, availability, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Perform capacity planning and performance analysis across AI infrastructure environments.
- Manage lifecycle engineering activities, including upgrades, patching, and platform optimization.




- Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for advanced issue resolution and technical escalations.
- Define, measure, and improve Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and operational standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience in AI Infrastructure, Platform Engineering, Storage Engineering, or related domains.
- Robust expertise in Linux administration and troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and/or Slurm environments.
- Experience with enterprise storage platforms and high-performance computing environments.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Ansible for automation.
- Strong understanding of SLOs, capacity planning, performance engineering, and reliability practices.
- Proven experience conducting complex RCAs and implementing preventive solutions.
- Experience in lifecycle management and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
- Ability to work directly with OEMs and technology vendors on critical escalations.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale AI/ML infrastructure environments.
- Mandarin language proficiency for technical discussions with regional stakeholders.
- Experience with distributed systems, GPU infrastructure, and high-performance computing platforms.
