Position Overview

We are looking for a hands-on L2 Atlassian Cloud Administrator with strong experience in Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, JSM, and Xray.

This is an operational/admin role focused on day-to-day production support, configuration, customization, troubleshooting, and automation. The resource will work through the Operations queue and should be able to independently handle L2 activities with minimal supervision.

Strong Atlassian Cloud expertise and hands-on Xray experience are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L2 support for Jira Cloud, Confluence Cloud, JSM, Xray, and related add-ons.
- Create and configure Jira projects, workflows, schemes, fields, screens, permissions, notifications, filters, and dashboards.
- Support JSM request types, queues, workflows, and service projects.
- Administer and troubleshoot Xray for QA/test-management activities.
- Handle day-to-day configuration changes, customization requests, and production issues.
- Create and maintain Jira automation rules.
- Use Jira REST APIs and basic Python scripting for data retrieval and operational automation.
- Support the Atlassian Cloud environment following migration from Data Center.
- Maintain relevant configuration and process documentation.





Required Skills

- Strong hands-on Jira Cloud administration.
- Solid Confluence Cloud and JSM experience.
- Hands-on Xray administration experience – mandatory.
- Experience configuring Jira projects from scratch.
- Robust understanding of workflows, schemes, fields, screens, permissions, and notifications.
- Experience supporting Jira in an enterprise production environment.
- Experience with Jira automation and REST APIs.
- Basic Python/scripting knowledge.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to independently handle L2 support.

Nice to Have

- Data Center-to-Cloud migration/post-migration support experience.
- Tempo experience.
- Exposure to CI/CD and other Atlassian Marketplace applications.

Important Clarifications ServiceNow Integration with Jira - a real time project experience is mandatory

Xray: Candidates must have genuine hands-on Xray administration experience. General exposure is not sufficient.

Python: Advanced development is not required. The candidate should be comfortable writing or maintaining simple scripts using REST APIs.

Tempo: Useful but not mandatory. Training can be provided if the candidate is strong in the core Atlassian requirements.

Ideal Candidate A strong Atlassian Cloud administrator who can independently support Jira, Confluence, JSM, and Xray, handle L2 production tickets, perform configurations and customizations, and work comfortably with automation, APIs, and basic scripting.
