VahaFlix is an emerging short-drama OTT platform dedicated to delivering engaging, high-quality, and original storytelling experiences. We specialize in creating short-form fictional content with cinematic visuals, compelling narratives, and engaging storytelling.

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor who understands cinematic storytelling and can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality short-drama episodes.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished short-drama episodes, short films, and web series.
- Maintain strong storytelling flow, scene continuity, emotional impact, and cinematic pacing.
- Edit dialogue-driven scenes while ensuring smooth transitions and narrative consistency.
- Collaborate with directors, cinematographers, and creative teams to achieve the desired visual style.
- Perform basic color correction, sound synchronization, audio balancing, and transitions.
- Create engaging trailers, teasers, and promotional videos when required.
- Ensure timely delivery of edited content while maintaining quality standards.
- Organize and manage project files, footage, and backups efficiently.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of professional video editing experience.
- Hands-on experience editing fiction-based content, short films, web series, or narrative-driven videos.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
- Solid understanding of cinematic storytelling, scene continuity, pacing,



and editing techniques.
- Ability to work with dialogue-heavy scenes and create engaging emotional sequences.
- Basic knowledge of color grading, sound design, and audio mixing.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with a creative production team.

Preferred Background
- Experience working with film production houses, OTT platforms, short-drama platforms, or digital content studios.
- Previous experience editing short films, fiction series, web series, or episodic content.
- Knowledge of Adobe After Effects or motion graphics is an added advantage.
- A degree or diploma in Film Editing, Mass Communication, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Important Requirements
- Only Mumbai-based candidates will be considered.
- Candidates must have 1–3 years of relevant editing experience.
- Experience in fiction, narrative storytelling, short films, or web series is required.
- Candidates with experience exclusively in social media reels, corporate videos, or promotional editing may not be suitable for this position.
- Applicants must provide a portfolio or showreel demonstrating their editing skills.
- Shortlisted candidates may be required to complete a practical editing assessment.
