We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer ETL to join our technology team and contribute to complex data engineering and transformation initiatives.
The role involves understanding business requirements, designing and developing quality data solutions, performing detailed data analysis and collaborating with engineers, business analysts and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain ETL/data integration workflows
- Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable data solutions
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries
- Work on data extraction, transformation and loading processes
- Perform data analysis, validation and troubleshooting to ensure data quality
- Develop and maintain Unix/Bash scripts for data processing and automation
- Work with scheduling tools such as Tivoli and/or Autosys
- Participate in Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Modelling
- Troubleshoot data and ETL issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with engineering teams, business analysts and stakeholders
- Ensure quality, reliability and timely delivery of technical solutions
