Job Location: Saki Vihar Road, Powai, Mumbai

Working Days: Monday to Saturday (2nd & 4th Saturdays off)

Working Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM

About the Role

Morpheus Consulting is hiring a Junior Interior Designer for an exciting chance with a leading design studio in Mumbai. The candidate will support the design team in handling interior projects from concept development to execution, including design documentation, material coordination, client interaction, and site coordination.

Key Responsibilities

* Understand client requirements and develop creative interior design concepts.

- Assist with space planning, layouts, sketches, mood boards, and presentations.
- Prepare detailed drawings, layouts, RCPs, and other design documentation.
- Work on design development using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D software, or similar tools.
- Assist in preparing BOQs and material specifications.
- Coordinate with senior designers and internal project teams.
- Assist in client meetings, presentations, follow-ups, and design revisions.
- Source and coordinate materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, and accessories.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for quotations, samples, and product selections.
- Conduct site visits for measurements, inspections,



and execution follow-ups.
- Ensure site execution is aligned with approved drawings and design concepts.
- Assist in maintaining project timelines and coordinating with execution teams.
- Review completed work and support project handover and closure.
- Maintain proper project documentation and presentation standards.

Required Skills

* 2–4 years of relevant experience in interior design projects.
- Strong knowledge of space planning and interior detailing.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D software, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of BOQ preparation and material specifications.
- Strong visualization and mood board creation skills.
- Creative, imaginative, and detail-oriented approach.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Basic understanding of project management and site coordination.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Good knowledge of current interior design trends, materials, and aesthetics.
- Strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical interior design skills is mandatory.
