Role Description The Junior Baker role is a full-time, on-site position based in Navi Mumbai, working primarily at Manuka in CBD Belapur.

The Junior

Baker will assist in daily bread and pastry production, including mixing, shaping, baking, and finishing items such as breads, cookies, and desserts.

Responsibilities include following recipes and production schedules, preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety standards, and supporting the team during service hours.



The role involves working closely with senior bakers and kitchen staff to ensure product quality, consistency, and timely output.

The Junior

Baker may also help with inventory checks, basic equipment care, and occasional customer-facing interactions when needed.

Qualifications

- Practical skills and interest in bakery operations, including working in a Bakery environment.
- Foundational Baking abilities with exposure to bread and pastry techniques.
- Experience or training in Food Preparation, including measuring, mixing, and handling ingredients safely.
- Ability to prepare and handle Cookies and other small baked goods with attention to detail.
- Basic skills in Bread production, such as kneading, shaping, and baking, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety practices in a skilled kitchen.
- Reliability in early-morning or flexible shift work, and ability to stand for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and willingness to take feedback and grow under supervision.
- Prior experience in a bakery, café, or restaurant kitchen is an advantage but not mandatory.
