Vaishnavi Gem & Jewel Pvt Ltd (Vaishnavi Jewels) is a certified diamond jewellery showroom and manufacturer in Surat since 2005, at Rajhans Ornate - High Street Retail Mall, Parle Point, Surat. We create certified natural and lab-grown diamond jewellery, Polki and bridal jewellery in our own manufacturing unit.
We are hiring a full-time Jewellery Designer. Fresh designers are welcome.
Salary: as per skills and experience (discussed at the interview)
Timings: 10:45 AM - 8:30 PM, Monday to Saturday (Sunday off)
Location: On-site, full time, Parle Point, Surat. Candidates from other cities must be willing to relocate to Surat.
Responsibilities
- Hand-sketch jewellery concepts: rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bangles and bridal sets
- Create detailed designs and renders in Procreate (iPad)
- Turn customer ideas and reference photos into design options for custom orders
- Work with our manufacturing team so every design is practical to make
- Keep an organised library of designs
Requirements
- Strong manual jewellery sketching and/or Procreate jewellery design skills
- A portfolio of your jewellery designs (required)
- Course, diploma or degree in jewellery design preferred; freshers welcome
- CAD basics (Rhino / MatrixGold) and knowledge of diamonds and gemstones are a plus
Mandatory (jewellery business)
- Police verification before joining
- One local reference from Surat (not a family member)
