Role Description The IT JSOX Senior Associate / IT JSOX Assistant Manager is a full-time hybrid role based in Bengaluru, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for supporting and managing IT JSOX (Japanese Sarbanes–Oxley) compliance activities, including planning and executing IT control testing, documenting processes, and ensuring adherence to global standards. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating IT general controls and application controls, coordinating with global and local IT teams, preparing testing documentation, and assisting in remediation plans for identified control gaps.

The role also involves contributing to process improvements, supporting internal and external audit requests, tracking project timelines,



and reporting status and findings to stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Solid analytical skills to assess IT controls, interpret data, and identify control gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, document findings clearly, and present results to stakeholders.
- Project management skills to plan, organize, and track JSOX testing activities, manage timelines, and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Experience with IT general controls, application controls, and information security principles; familiarity with JSOX, SOX, or similar regulatory frameworks is preferred.
- Knowledge of common IT environments (e.g., ERP systems, cloud platforms, network and infrastructure controls) and basic understanding of risk and control frameworks such as COSO or COBIT.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or similar are an advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru, manage competing priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a dynamic environment.
