Employment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewLooking for an IT Governance professional to strengthen technology governance, oversee IT vendor performance and drive PMO activities for a fintech organisation. The role will work closely with Technology, Information Security, Risk, Compliance, Procurement and business teams to ensure technology initiatives are well governed, delivered effectively.Key ResponsibilitiesIT Governance

- Establish and maintain IT governance policies, processes, controls and reporting mechanisms.
- Define ownership, approval processes and escalation paths across technology initiatives.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, contractual commitments and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate technology audits, maintain supporting evidence and track findings through closure.
- Maintain IT risk, issue, exception and remediation registers with relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate governance reviews covering change management, access reviews, incidents, business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Prepare management dashboards covering delivery performance, operational risks, compliance and corrective actions.

PMO & Delivery Governance

- Maintain consolidated project plans, milestone trackers, resource plans and delivery dashboards.
- Track project scope, timelines, budgets, dependencies, risks and issues across technology programmes.
- Facilitate project reviews, steering committee meetings and governance forums.
- Prepare status reports, meeting minutes, decision logs and action trackers.
- Govern change requests, including impact assessment,



approvals and commercial implications.
- Track UAT readiness, business sign-offs, release dependencies and post-go-live actions.
- Identify delivery deviations early and work with project owners to agree recovery plans.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5-7 years of experience in IT governance, technology programme governance, PMO or IT service management, including hands-on vendor management.
- Experience working with fintech, banking, payments, NBFC or other financial services organisations.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, Agile delivery, release management and IT operations.
- Working knowledge of IT governance and control frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL, PCI and ISO 27001.
- Experience managing technology vendors, implementation partners and outsourced service providers.
- Ability to review contracts, SOWs, SLAs, project commercials and delivery commitments.
- Robust skills in risk tracking, audit coordination, management reporting and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and project tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or Microsoft Project.
- Ability to drive accountability and closure across teams without direct reporting authority.

Success Measures

- Timely closure of audit findings, governance actions and vendor corrective actions.
- Consistent vendor adherence to agreed service levels and delivery commitments.
- Accurate and timely reporting of project progress, budgets and risks.
- Early identification and escalation of delivery and operational issues.
- Improved adherence to project approvals, change controls and contractual milestones.
