About the Role

We’re hiring SDE 2/3 level ios engineer to own our iOS product.

Responsibilities

- A roadmap surface end to end: design, build, TestFlight, phased rollout, and the dashboard that tells you it worked.
- Real-time: calls, messaging, push, and the sync that keeps them honest offline.
- Release health: crash-free rate, cold start, memory — measured, not guessed.
- SDE III: the architecture itself — modules, boundaries, concurrency conventions, and the standards the team reviews against.
- First 90 days:
- Ship one roadmap feature to the App Store via phased rollout.
- Move one release-health number (crash-free sessions or cold start) and show the before/after.
- SDE III:



land one architecture decision that lets two engineers ship in parallel without stepping on each other.

Qualifications

- SDE II: 3–6 years shipping iOS.
- SDE III: 6–9 years, and you’ve led a modularisation or architecture migration and can say what it cost.

Required Skills

- You’ve shipped native Swift apps to the App Store and can name the release you owned.
- SwiftUI and UIKit are both in your production muscle memory, including bridging between them.
- You’ve debugged a real data race or main-thread hang with Swift Concurrency, not just read about actors.
- You’ve opened Instruments or Crashlytics, found the problem, fixed it, and have the number.

Preferred Skills

- Nice to have: AVFoundation, WebSockets at scale, certificate pinning and data protection, Swift Testing, consumer apps at 1M+ MAU, a 0→1 story.
- Not a fit: hybrid-only (Flutter / React Native) with iOS as a build target.
