Job Summary An internship opportunity titled: Intern-Test Automation has just opened at Airbus India located in Bangalore. You will join the "Engineering and PLM" department. Ideally, this is a 6 months internship.

Responsibilities

Your main missions will consist of:

- Scripting

- Executing automated test suites

- Debugging test failures

- Defect reporting

- Test plan review

- Code review
- Identify, assess risks and quality bottlenecks in your area of duty.
- Identify and prioritize software defects and issues that might negatively affect the product/process quality; take corrective and preventive actions accordingly.
- Evolve rapidly to meet the challenges of the fast-changing business environment and of the business culture in the context of digitalization, always focusing on successful delivery on time, cost, quality, and on business value generation.
- This includes the application of the four agile values and twelve principles; the trade-offs decision to be made using engineering judgment; the evolution toward any new state-of-the-art methodology of the future, and the adaptability to take different roles in recent project contexts.




- Communicate your findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.
- Your tutor will support you identify your professional objectives and develop your skills.

Skills

- Test Automation Development Scripting (Selenium, Playwright, PyTest, JUnit, TestNG)
- Software Quality Assurance, Defect Life Cycle, and Test Case Design
- CI/CD Workflows, Version Control (Git/GitHub), and REST API Testing

Qualifications

- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

Competences

- Technical skills
- Programming: Python, Java, or C#
- Testing Concepts Tools: STLC/SDLC, Selenium, Playwright, Postman, PyTest, TestNG
- Software Engineering: OOP, Data Structures, Design Patterns, SQL, Git, and CI/CD basics

- Soft Skills
- Adaptability, problem-solving, and continuous learning mindset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate in global teams

- Language skills

- English: Fluent / Advanced
