Role Description The Interior Designer – Sales position at SAMURAI HOME DELHI is a full-time, on-site role based in Delhi, OH. The individual in this role will meet with customers in the showroom or designated spaces to understand their aesthetic preferences, functional needs, and budget, and then translate these into cohesive interior design concepts featuring Samurai Home’s furniture and rug collections. Daily responsibilities include creating design proposals and mood boards, preparing layout plans, and presenting solutions that align with brand standards while driving sales.

The role involves advising customers on materials, finishes, colors, and product combinations, following up on inquiries, and closing sales through consultative guidance.

The Interior





Designer – Sales will collaborate with internal teams for order processing, delivery coordination, and after-sales support, while maintaining accurate records of client interactions and sales activity.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess skills in interior design concept development, space planning, and basic knowledge of materials, finishes, and color theory.
- Candidates should possess skills in customer consultation, relationship building, and persuasive communication to support showroom-based sales.
- Candidates should possess skills in visual presentation, including preparing mood boards, sample selections, and clear design proposals.
- Candidates should possess skills in organization and attention to detail, including maintaining client records and coordinating orders and timelines.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic digital tools, such as productivity software and, ideally, design or visualization software (e.g., SketchUp, AutoCAD, or similar).
- Relevant qualifications may include a diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in retail furniture, home décor, or interior design sales is beneficial, along with a strong customer-service orientation.
- The ability to work on-site in Delhi, OH, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adapt to a design-led, quality-focused setting is important.
