### Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician / Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our polyplast manufacturing plant at Singur.

The candidate will be responsible for *electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdown support of plant machinery, with particular focus on **VFD/AC drives, motors, electrical panels, control circuits and other industrial electrical components*.

Candidates with experience in plastic/polymer manufacturing machinery will be preferred.

### Key Responsibilities

* Perform preventive and breakdown electrical maintenance of plant machinery.

* Troubleshoot and maintain VFDs/AC drives, motors, starters, contactors, relays and control circuits.

* Maintain and troubleshoot MCC, PCC and electrical control panels.

* Handle electrical faults and breakdowns to minimize machine downtime.

* Carry out electrical wiring, cable termination and panel maintenance.

* Check and maintain electrical components of plastic/polymer processing machinery.

* Assist in installation, commissioning and maintenance of new machinery and electrical equipment.

* Monitor machine electrical systems and identify potential faults before breakdown.

* Maintain electrical maintenance and breakdown records.

* Coordinate with the Production and Maintenance teams for timely resolution of machine-related electrical issues.

* Follow all plant electrical safety and maintenance procedures.

### Required Skills & Experience

* ITI / Diploma in Electrical or equivalent qualification.

* 2–5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.

* Hands-on experience with VFD/AC drives, motors and industrial electrical panels.

* Good knowledge of electrical troubleshooting and control circuits.

* Experience with plastic/polymer manufacturing machinery will be an added advantage.

* Ability to independently diagnose and resolve electrical faults.

* Knowledge of preventive and breakdown maintenance.

* Willingness to work in a manufacturing plant workplace.

Duties

- Perform routine and preventive electrical maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including motors, drives, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), sensors, and control systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, multimeters (voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters), and other precision measuring instruments.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults in low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track equipment history, and schedule maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Conduct equipment troubleshooting for pneumatic and hydraulic systems, ensuring minimal downtime through effective repairs.




- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics for installation or repair projects.
- Use field service techniques to perform repairs on-site, including welding (stick welding) and working with industrial mechanics when necessary.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards such as HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) systems and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Operate scissor lifts or other aerial work platforms safely for elevated maintenance tasks.
- Support engineering troubleshooting efforts by analyzing complex electrical issues and recommending solutions that improve reliability.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician with a strong background in manufacturing facility environments.
- Knowledge of electrical diagnostics, equipment troubleshooting, and industrial maintenance practices.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation.
- Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding (stick welding preferred), and low/high voltage electrical systems.
- Proficiency using multimeters (voltmeters, ammeters), ohmmeters, analysis skills for electrical troubleshooting.
- Ability to read technical schematics and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with industrial mechanic experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency in field service operations.
- Effective communication skills in English to collaborate across teams and document work clearly.
- Additional nice-to-have qualifications include manufacturing facility experience, CMMS proficiency, technical sales experience related to industrial equipment, military background in electronics or maintenance roles.
