We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with deep techno-functional expertise in the Financial Services sector (Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance). The ideal candidate will own the end-to-end business analysis lifecycle across diverse consulting and implementation programs, acting as the functional custodian and bridging business stakeholders with implementation teams. This is a client-facing role requiring strong domain knowledge, stakeholder management, and hands-on delivery experience.

Responsibilities

CAN JOIN IN 0- 30 DAYS

- Own the BA lifecycle covering Business Analysis, Requirement Definition, Gap Analysis, Solution Validation, Testing & go live.
- Conduct requirement discovery, document processes, data flows and interfaces across the systems landscape
- Facilitate requirement workshops with business, operations and finance stakeholders.
- Perform fit-gap analysis — map requirements to core functionality, recommend configuration-first solutions and justify change requests.
- Author BRDs, functional specifications, process maps, rule matrices, decision tables and configuration/mapping sheets.
- Own testing - define scenarios, prepare test cases,



support SIT/UAT execution, manage requirements traceability, defect triage and business sign-off.
- Coordinate closely with the implementation team and act as the business custodian within the program.

Mandatory skill sets

- 2 to 4 years in banking / insurance business analysis, with hands-on experience in consulting / implementation.
- Mandatory techno-functional depth in at least one sector (Banking / Insurance).
- Demonstrated experience across the full BA lifecycle including fit-gap analysis, requirements traceability, SIT/UAT, and data migration validation.
- Ability to work with technical teams, translate functional requirements into technical requirements, with working knowledge of APIs and integration requirements.
- Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for client-facing engagements.

Preferred skill sets

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in client-facing / consulting roles within the Financial Services sector.
- Business Analysis certifications:
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Qualified) or CCBA, or
- Sectoral certifications such as Associate/JAIIB/CAIIB (IIBF) for banking or Licentiate/Associate (Insurance Institute of India) for insurance.
- Experience working with Claude Code / AI-assisted tools or Claude-related certifications to accelerate analysis, documentation and delivery.
- Experience with core platform implementations (Policy Administration Systems, Core Banking, Claims etc.).

Years of experience required

- 2 to 4 years in Business Analysis / Project Delivery roles within Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance.

Education qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / MCA/ M.E/ M.TECH/ MBA/ PGDM. All qualifications should be in regular full-time mode with no extension of course duration due to backlogs
