Role Description The Import Operation Executive role is a full-time, in office position based in Vadodara. The role involves managing day-to-day import operations, including coordinating with clients, carriers, and customs authorities to ensure timely clearance and delivery of cargo.

Responsibilities include preparing and verifying shipping and customs documentation, tracking shipments, updating internal systems, and resolving operational issues.

Executive will liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to maintain service quality, support customer queries, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Import Logistics and Import procedures, with the ability to handle end-to-end import operations.
- Understanding of Export processes to coordinate related documentation and shipments when required.
- Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact with clients, vendors, and authorities professionally.
- Attention to detail in documentation, compliance, and data entry, with good organizational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding, customs clearance, and basic shipping terminology (FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.).
- Proficiency in MS Office and logistics-related software or ERP systems.
- Relevant experience in import/export or logistics operations; prior experience in a freight forwarding environment is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
