Dr. Morepen Home delivers doctor visits, nursing care, vaccinations, IV therapy, diagnostics and ongoing care at home. We also operate institutional health centres. We are looking for an HR Manager who has worked in a fast-paced startup and can independently own hiring and people operations as we grow.

You should have personally hired both tech and non-tech talent, managed an HRMS, implemented policies and used AI to improve day-to-day execution. This is a hands-on individual ownership role, with scope to build the function over time.

Recruitment and workforce planning

- Partner with founders and managers to define role requirements, hiring priorities, compensation ranges and interview plans.
- Own sourcing, screening, interviews, references, offers and joining across technology, product, sales, growth, operations, support and clinical teams.
- For tech hiring, understand role requirements, conduct effective initial screens and coordinate technical assessments with hiring managers.
- Build direct sourcing pipelines through LinkedIn, referrals, communities, job platforms and targeted outreach; use agencies selectively.
- Manage multiple live roles, share weekly pipeline updates and proactively resolve interview delays, offer drop-offs and joining risks.
- Track time to fill, offer acceptance, actual joins, sourcing mix and 90-day retention. Balance speed with hiring quality.

Onboarding and employee lifecycle

- Own joining documentation, induction, probation tracking, confirmations, role changes and exits.
- Coordinate background checks and clinical credential verification with medical leadership before deployment.
- Give new hires clear responsibilities, reporting lines, goals and check-ins; support managers through the first 90 days.

HRMS, payroll coordination and policies

- Independently administer the HRMS: employee records, attendance, leave rules, approval flows, onboarding, exits, reporting and access permissions.
- Coordinate accurate monthly payroll inputs with finance, including attendance exceptions, new joiners, exits and approved incentives.
- Draft, implement and explain policies covering leave, attendance, conduct, reimbursements, confidentiality and performance.
- Coordinate applicable employment and statutory requirements with finance, legal advisers and external specialists; maintain organised documentation.

Performance, employee relations and retention

- Set up probation reviews, role-specific goals, feedback cycles and documented performance improvement plans.
- Resolve employee concerns fairly, support managers with difficult conversations and follow through on agreed actions.
- Analyse early exits, recurring absenteeism and retention concerns; recommend practical improvements.

Use AI and automation in daily work

- Use AI for sourcing research, search strings, role briefs, interview guides, policy drafts and reporting, with human review.
- Build useful automations for interview coordination, onboarding reminders, probation alerts and recurring HR reports.
- Show measurable improvements in turnaround time or administrative effort. Use approved tools and protect candidate and employee information.

What you should bring

- Typically 5-8 years in recruitment and HR, including at least 2 years in a rapid-paced startup or comparable scaling business.
- Evidence of personally closing both tech and non-tech hires, managing simultaneous vacancies and working directly with founders or business heads.
- Hands-on HRMS administration and policy implementation experience, beyond data entry or forwarding issues to a vendor.
- Practical AI skills, strong Excel or Google Sheets ability, clear English and Hindi communication, discretion and dependable follow-through.
