Roles and Responsibilities

Lead the Hindi department and ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum for Grades 1–10.

Prepare annual plans, lesson plans, and assessment schedules aligned with learning outcomes.

Mentor Hindi teachers through regular classroom observations, feedback, and career development.

Monitor syllabus completion, teaching quality, and students’ academic progress.

Design and review question papers, worksheets, and competency-based assessments.

Analyse student performance and implement remedial and enrichment programmes.

Promote Hindi reading, writing, speaking, literary activities, and competitions.

Maintain departmental records and ensure compliance with CBSE guidelines.

Coordinate with school leadership, teachers, students,



and parents to improve academic outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

Master’s degree in Hindi with B.Ed.

Minimum 5 years of teaching experience; HOD or academic leadership experience Mandatory

Strong knowledge of CBSE curriculum, Hindi pedagogy, assessment practices, and NEP 2020.

Key Skills
