Assistant Manager/ Deputy Manager - HO- F&S; (O&M-Solar;)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous and effective monitoring of all projects by tracking progress regularly and addressing any issues promptly. Establish clear performance metrics and benchmarks to evaluate project success.
- Provide QCA with timely and accurate data from a variety of weather sources, including Windy, Meteologix, and Meteoblue. This will facilitate necessary schedule adjustments based on current, real-time information.
- Regularly review and verify the data for consistency and reliability. Additionally, maintain open lines of communication with QCA to discuss any potential weather-related impacts and proactively implement adjustments as needed to optimize project timelines.
- Promptly escalate any discrepancies or instances of high penalties to QCA. Work collaboratively with the QCA team to develop actionable solutions and track the progress of resolutions.
- Implement preventive measures to avoid future occurrences and minimize impact on operations. Regularly review and assess the situation to ensure ongoing compliance and improvement.
- Report discrepancies to QCAs promptly to ensure submission of the related documents within the timeframe set by SLDC/RLDC. This timely reporting aims to optimize DSM and address any related revenue losses. Maintain transparent communication with QCAs throughout the process to facilitate swift resolution and minimize potential impacts on operations. Regularly review and track the status of these submissions to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Enhance DSM efficiency by implementing a range of analyses and strategies, focusing on improved performance and minimizing operational issues. Identify key areas for improvement and apply data-driven insights to optimize processes.
Collaborate with QCA's to develop targeted initiatives that address specific challenges. Monitor the impact of these strategies regularly, adjusting as needed to ensure ongoing enhancement and effectiveness in operations.
- Compile and generate monthly reports that summarize site performance and data trends, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Conduct thorough reviews of the data to identify any discrepancies or anomalies before finalizing the reports. Include key metrics and insights to provide a clear overview of performance. Maintain a consistent reporting format for ease of analysis and comparison over time.
- Maintain and verify the SLDC Published DSM and MEA reports to ensure their accuracy and compliance with established standards. Regularly review these reports for completeness and address any discrepancies promptly to support informed decision-making.
- Provide the necessary documentation whenever required by management in case of significant revenue loss. Ensure that all relevant information is clear and well-organized for review.
- CTU Coordination &
- Scheduling:
Coordinate with CTU and NLDC for day-ahead and intra-day scheduling of solar projects. Ensure submission of accurate forecasts and adherence to scheduling timelines as per CERC and CTU regulations.
- Energy Accounting &
- Deviation Management:
Monitor deviation settlement under the CERC DSM framework.
Track deviations at the pooling substation level and implement corrective measures to minimize DSM penalties for CTU-connected projects.
- Data Integration &
- Real-time Monitoring:
Integrate SCADA and telemetry data for real-time monitoring of solar generation. Ensure smooth data flow to NLDC/QCA platforms for accurate forecasting and compliance with data availability norms.
- Regulatory Compliance &
- Reporting:
Ensure compliance with CERC, CTU, and NLDC guidelines for renewable energy forecasting, scheduling, and deviation handling. Maintain records of submissions, communications, and compliance reports for audits and internal reviews.
- Coordination with LTA/STU/CTU Entities: Liaise with LTA (Long-Term Access) and CTU/STU teams for grid connectivity, scheduling, and outage coordination. Maintain active communication to resolve scheduling or deviation-related operational issues.
- Forecast Accuracy Analysis: Conduct regular analysis of forecast accuracy versus actual generation for CTU projects. Identify sources of error and coordinate with forecasting agencies to enhance precision.
- Curtailment &
- Outage Tracking:
Monitor and document curtailments or outages impacting CTU-connected projects. Coordinate with CTU/NLDC for verification and ensure these are accounted for in DSM calculations to avoid unjustified penalties.
- Central Pool Reporting: Consolidate generation and deviation data from all CTU-connected projects into a unified report for internal tracking and management review. Highlight key trends, deviations, and recommendations.
Education Qualification:
