Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS / OS Linux Support Engineer to manage, operate, and support enterprise cloud infrastructure hosted on AWS. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining production workloads, troubleshooting Linux operating systems, implementing security controls, automating infrastructure operations, and ensuring high availability and performance.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS core services, RHEL Linux administration, production support, and infrastructure automation. Experience supporting SAP workloads on AWS is an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, operate, and support AWS cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications and SAP workloads.
- Manage AWS services, including EC2, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, KMS, CloudTrail, AWS Backup, AWS Config, and CloudFormation.
- Administer RHEL Linux and Windows servers, including patching, kernel management, volume management, and OS troubleshooting.
- Monitor production environments, resolve incidents, and handle critical L2/L3 escalations.
- Implement security policies, OS hardening, vulnerability remediation, and access controls.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.




- Use AWS CLI and work with JSON/YAML configuration files.
- Support high-availability environments, cluster management, and database infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot networking issues involving TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, DNS, firewalls, and network services.
- Maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures, and change management records.
- Identify opportunities to improve automation, reliability, security, and cloud cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with global teams to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) and operational targets.

Mandatory Skills
- 68 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, Linux administration, or production operations.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services.
- Solid experience in Linux System Administration and RHEL Linux.
- At least one valid AWS or RHEL certification is mandatory.
- Experience with AWS EC2, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, KMS, AWS Backup, AWS Config, and CloudFormation.
- Experience in OS patching, kernel management, volume management, Linux firewall, and production troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation and scripting.
- Understanding of networking, security hardening, incident management, and production support.
