MecAgent is an AI software company building AI that integrates with CAD software like SolidWorks to automate core CAD engineering work text-to-CAD, CAD-to-drawing, and drawing-to-CAD generation. We're looking for a long-term collaborator who can support our CAD drawing and modeling workflow.

The role

CAD & Drawing work (GD&T-focused;)

Create and review mechanical drawings per GD&T; standards (ISO and ASME) for training data, or to fix AI-generated drawings

Review, correct, and validate CAD models and drawings for accuracy and conformance

Generate CAD models based on drawings as part of our production and quality workflow

Compare outputs against engineering specifications and provide structured feedback

What we're looking for

Strong SolidWorks proficiency modeling, drafting, and drawing generation

Solid,



hands-on knowledge of GD&T; (both ISO and ASME standards) we will run a timed technical test on GD&T; and ASME/ISO drawing standards as part of the process.

Warning: there's no point applying without very good knowledge of GD&T; in both standards only a shallow understanding will not be sufficient for this job.
