Role Description The Head of IA, CA, Bangalore is responsible for leading and managing the internal audit function for the Bengaluru office, ensuring effective risk management, internal controls, and compliance across client engagements. This full-time, on-site role involves planning and executing internal audits, reviewing audit methodologies, and providing strategic input on process improvements and control frameworks.

The role includes supervising audit teams, allocating resources, mentoring team members, and overseeing the quality and timeliness of deliverables. The Head of IA will collaborate closely with partners and clients, present audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and support implementation of best practices. The position also involves staying updated on regulatory developments,



industry standards, and emerging risks relevant to internal audit and compliance.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in internal audit, risk assessment, internal controls, and compliance; ability to design and implement robust audit frameworks.
- Proficiency in accounting, financial analysis, and taxation concepts to evaluate transactions and financial statements effectively.
- Experience in audit planning, execution, documentation, and reporting, including review of working papers and audit evidence.
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to mentor and develop audit professionals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and a structured approach to complex issues.
- Comfort with using audit tools and productivity software; familiarity with data analytics for audit and risk assessment is an advantage.
- Relevant professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent; additional certifications in internal audit or risk (e.g., CIA, CISA) are a plus.
- Prior experience in a professional services firm or consulting environment, handling multiple clients and sectors, preferably in a leadership role.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and cross-location teams.
