Role & responsibilities

- To ensure smooth functioning of all utility / Pollution Control Services at Taloja.
- To plan activities like Spare Management, preventive maintenance schedules, implementation of CLIT.
- To initiate / plan / implement projects for capacity, install pollution control devices to comply statutory norms.
- To achieve savings on account of vendor development, energy savings, planning etc.
- Monitoring and control of all expenses in the area of indirect labor, repairs and maintenance, consumables, fuel, overtime.

- To ensure meeting of the legal requirements, consent compliance, statutory legal returns and maintain cordial relations with various government agencies.
- To initiate immediate action in case of violations if any.
- To coordinate with vendors, logistics to develop local spares.

- To assess competency of subordinates, training needs and arrange for training

- Must have leadership qualities.
- Must have expertise to handle projects and pollution related activities.
- Must have liaisoning power with external agencies.
- Must be receptive.
- Must have utility problem handling skills.
- Must have positive attitude.
