Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated PCB Design & Layout Engineer to join our engineering team in Bengaluru.

The candidate will be responsible for designing electronic circuits, developing PCB schematics and layouts, selecting suitable electronic components, and ensuring designs meet electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing requirements.

The role involves collaborating with internal engineering teams and external manufacturing partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and production-ready PCB designs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop PCB schematics and layouts for electronic products.
- Perform component placement, PCB routing, and multilayer board design.
- Work with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or Cadence Allegro.
- Understand circuit requirements and translate them into PCB designs.
- Perform design rule checks (DRC) and electrical rule checks (ERC).
- Prepare manufacturing deliverables, including Gerber files, BOMs, and fabrication documentation.




- Collaborate with hardware engineers for circuit design reviews and component selection.
- Support PCB prototyping, testing, debugging, and design modifications.
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly partners to ensure design-for-manufacturability (DFM).
- Maintain design documentation and support product verification and validation.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, ECE, or a related discipline.
- Hands-on experience in PCB schematic design and PCB layout ,Freshers are also welcome.
- Proficiency in at least one PCB design tool, such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad, or Cadence Allegro.
- Good understanding of electronic components, circuit design fundamentals, and PCB manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of multilayer PCB design, component placement, routing, and grounding techniques.
- Familiarity with PCB fabrication and assembly requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, technical documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with high-speed digital or mixed-signal PCB designs.
- Knowledge of signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
- Familiarity with power supply circuits and embedded hardware.
- Experience with PCB prototyping, board bring-up, testing, and debugging.
- Understanding of design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and design-for-assembly (DFA).
- Familiarity with IPC standards and PCB design best practices.
